HARDWARE & SOFTWARE
Equipment intended for another market may have compatibility, firmware, software or activation limitations.
BUYING & OWNERSHIP
Understand regional supply, warranty and support before choosing XAG equipment.
WHAT IS GREY-MARKET EQUIPMENT?
Grey-market equipment is sold outside XAG's authorised distribution channels. It can include overseas imports, equipment intended for another region, or products with an uncertain sales and service history.
That does not mean every grey-market product is counterfeit or stolen. It does mean buyers may have less certainty about compatibility, warranty and local support.
POTENTIAL RISKS
Regional suitability and a recognised support path matter throughout the working life of agricultural equipment.
Equipment intended for another market may have compatibility, firmware, software or activation limitations.
A local manufacturer warranty path may not be recognised when equipment was supplied outside the approved Australian network.
Parts, servicing, training and technical help may be harder to access or verify.
Condition, prior use and the authenticity or approval status of fitted components may be difficult to confirm.
